Massive Mulch Fire Battled by Detroit Firefighters

The fire is causing air quality issues across certain areas of Detroit.

Detroit firefighters are battling a massive mulch fire that is affecting air quality in some areas.

Crews said the fire is in massive piles of much that are stacked around 20 feet high or higher and stretched out over 500 yards.

The fire was discovered Tuesday night and still actively burning at dawn Wednesday, WDIV reported.
